Laxton Properties constructs high quality homes in choice locations throughout the home counties.

Consistently high-quality design and enticing marketing collateral has proved to be a highly effective selling tool.

We have used COS Design for a number of years for all of our marketing, from the website to brochures, logos to newsletters. Not only do they always come up with a design that we are pleased with, but they do so with a responsive and helpful attitude which we really appreciate.

Laxton Properties

A sense of place

Each property development is uniquely named and provided with a distinct logo to differentiate it as a standalone location. These design elements are developed in accordance with the Laxton Properties brand style, ensuring a cohesive and consistent appearance across all projects.

Selling the dream

High-end print collateral is a necessity when selling quality homes. Use of textured and embossed papers, foiling and spacious, elegant layout designs all ensure the right feel is conveyed.

Aquaholic has found a niche market on YouTube, creating first person video tours that explore private yachts which are usually off-limits to the public.

The brief was primarily the creation of a logo that would work within the confines of a social media avatar but could also be used to brand merchandise. The emblem needed to be distinct amongst other YouTube avatars, feature the channel name whilst also capturing a feel for the content it was serving. A tall order, but one we fulfilled successfully.

COS Design developed concepts precisely in line with my requirements. Having chosen my favourite, they produced a range of styles for different applications creating a cohesive, recognisable and professional look across all media. I couldn’t be more pleased with their efforts.

Registering the trademark

COS Design worked with intellectual property specialists, Cole Francis, in the application and protection of registering the name and logo as a trademark along with the necessary classifications for applying it to branded goods.

Andy Pearson is a top-class web developer and has many, many interests.

One of those interests is miniature painting. He developed a web app, Paint Pad, to allow enthusiasts to create, share and discover great “recipes” for their miniatures. The community is growing and needed a brand to support it.

I was blown away by the design and concepts that COS produced for Paint Pad. A truly unique and polished approach to the brand.

Paint Pad

The recipe

The branding itself is pared back to allow the images and ‘recipes’ from the community members to add the colour and interest. The coloured circles represent open paint pots and, in the app UI, can be generated from the recipes of the current user so that their experience is personalised.

More than a lick of paint

We created concepts for logos with animation and audio branding, overall visual identity, web app UI and merch such as t-shirts. Andy loved the result and plans to implement the brand on Paint Pad as the community grows.
